Wedding Desk is currently in beta. These guides describe the workflows that are available now. Some articles are still being expanded with fuller instructions, screenshots and video.
What this article covers
Project notes are for internal context that helps you understand the wedding. They are useful when information matters, but does not yet belong in a structured workspace.
What notes are good for
Use notes for:
- sensitive family context
- mood or priority reminders
- decisions from a call
- unusual restrictions
- internal observations
- details you do not want to lose before you know where they belong
What notes are not for
Notes should not become the final home for structured planning details.
If something becomes timing, move it to the Wedding timeline. If it becomes a must-have image, move it to the Shot list. If it is a person or company, move it to Vendors & contacts. If it is a packing item, move it to Gear list.
Steps
- Open the project.
- Open the notes area, Project details, or the project header where Project Notes is available.
- Add the context you want to remember.
- Keep it short enough to scan later.
- Save the notes.
- Move structured details into the right workspace when they become part of the plan.
What happens after saving
Notes stay inside the project workspace as internal context. Do not assume they are included in public share or client-facing output unless a specific share screen says that they are.
Tips & suggestions
- Use notes for context, not for final planning structure.
- Keep sensitive notes private and direct.
- Review notes before final timeline, shot list and vendor checks.
