What this article covers
Project details stores the core information for one wedding. These details give the rest of the project its basic context.
What belongs in Project details
Use Project details for:
- partner names
- wedding date
- wedding location
- couple contact details
- package information
- package price and currency
- project status
- delivery deadline
- internal summary or notes if shown there
Use Notes for internal context that does not belong in a structured field yet.
Steps
- Open the project.
- Go to Project details.
- Review Couple & wedding.
- Add or update partner names, wedding location and wedding date.
- Review Contact and add email, phone or social details if needed.
- Review Package and add package information if you use it.
- Review Currency & delivery.
- Set the delivery deadline if you know it.
- Add internal project notes or summary if those fields are shown.
- Click Save Project Details.
- Wait for Saved before leaving the page.
What happens after saving
Wedding Desk saves the project details and can use them across the project. The wedding date can affect dashboard and date views. The location can support timeline and location context. The delivery deadline can support Delivery preparation and Dates & deadlines.
If you type a new location, Wedding Desk may ask whether you want to save that location to Contacts / Locations. Use that when the venue or location may be useful again.
Tips & suggestions
- Add the wedding date early. It makes the project easier to organize.
- Add the delivery deadline before the wedding if you already know your turnaround promise.
- Keep client-facing details separate from internal notes.
