What belongs in Project details

Use Project details for:

• partner names
• wedding date
• wedding location
• couple contact details
• package information
• package price
• project currency
• project status
• wedding time zone
• delivery deadline
• internal summary or notes if shown there

Use Notes for information you want to remember but have not yet added to a specific part of the plan.

Steps

1. Open the project.
2. Go to Project details.
3. Review Couple & wedding.
4. Add or update partner names, wedding location and wedding date.
5. Review Contact and add email, phone or social details if needed.
6. Review Package and add package information if you use it. Set Project currency here if the project uses a custom package.
7. Review Project & delivery and set the project status, Wedding time zone and delivery deadline.
8. Add internal project notes or summary if those fields are shown.
9. Click Save Project Details.
10. Wait for Saved before leaving the page.

What happens after saving

The saved details appear where they are needed in the project. By default, Wedding time zone uses the account time zone; change it for a destination wedding in another time zone. On The Day uses the wedding date, Wedding time zone and current clock to determine Current, Next and Upcoming moments. New projects start with your account's default currency. On plans with packages, Project currency can be changed while the project uses a custom package; picking a saved package from your price list locks the currency to that package's own currency. Changing the currency only relabels amounts already entered, it does not convert them. The delivery deadline appears in Delivery preparation and Dates & deadlines.

If you type a new location, Wedding Desk may ask whether you want to save that location to Contacts & locations. Use that when the venue or location may be useful again.
