Wedding Desk is currently in beta. These guides describe the workflows that are available now. Some articles are still being expanded with fuller instructions, screenshots and video.
What this article covers
Use Add quote to project when calculator work should be connected to a wedding project.
When this is useful
This is useful when you started in the standalone workspace calculator and later decide the quote belongs to a specific wedding.
If you already opened the calculator from inside a project, use the project calculator instead.
Before you start
You need at least one project in the workspace and a calculator quote that you want to keep.
Steps
- Open the workspace calculator.
- Build or open the quote draft.
- Review package, coverage, add-ons, travel, discount and VAT or tax.
- Review the quote total.
- Click Add quote to project.
- Select the project if Wedding Desk asks you to choose one.
- Confirm the save.
- Open the project to review the saved context.
What happens after saving
Wedding Desk connects the calculator information to the selected project. This can help project details and project calculator work stay aligned.
What does not happen
Wedding Desk does not send the quote automatically, process payment or create an invoice when you save calculator work to a project.
Tips & suggestions
- Check the selected project before saving.
- Review Project details after saving if the package or project price matters for your workflow.
- Use Currency, VAT and payments if you are unsure what the financial fields mean.
