Use the standalone calculator

What this article covers

The standalone calculator lets you build quote drafts while signed in, without choosing a project first. It includes the currency selector, package and coverage settings, add-ons, terms, Profit check and project actions.

Steps

1. Open Calculator.
2. Choose the quote currency.
3. Choose a package type and enter your own package price, hours and rates.
4. Add the services, travel, discount, VAT or tax and payment details you need.
5. Review the total, breakdown and optional profit check.
6. Use Save as package to save the current setup for another quote.
7. Choose a project and use Save to project to save the price, inputs and terms there.
8. Use Copy quote for client for a text version you can send to the client.

What happens after saving

Edits are saved as a draft automatically. If you save the quote to a project, Wedding Desk saves the price, currency, inputs and terms there. You can then reopen the quote in the project calculator.

• Use the standalone calculator when you are comparing pricing before a project is fully ready.
• Use the project calculator when the quote belongs to one specific wedding.
