Work with Timeline sections

What Timeline sections are

The columns on the Board are Timeline sections. The same moments also appear in Chronological.

Use sections for broad parts of the day so the Board stays easy to scan. Moving a moment to another section does not change its time, location, notes or links.

Edit Timeline sections

1. Open Board options.
2. Choose Edit timeline sections.
3. Rename sections, change their colors or drag them into a new order.
4. Add a Timeline section when needed.
5. To delete a section, choose where its moments should move and confirm Delete section.

You can also use Add timeline section on the Board. Moving or renaming a section does not change a moment's planned time.

Moving and deleting sections

Changing the section order changes the Board layout, not the order shown in Chronological. When deleting a section, choose where its moments should move before confirming.

Use Chronological after changing sections to confirm the complete day order. Keep sections broad enough to make the plan easy to scan instead of creating a separate column for every small event.
