Use Style notes

Wedding Desk is currently in beta. These guides describe the workflows that are available now. Some articles are still being expanded with fuller instructions, screenshots and video.

What this article covers

Use Style notes to collect visual direction and style preferences. Style notes help you understand how the couple wants the wedding to feel, without turning that information into a full separate moodboard system.

When to use Style notes

Use Style notes for:

  • visual preferences
  • editing or mood references
  • what the couple likes or dislikes
  • creative priorities
  • words that describe the desired feel
  • reference links or direction when the UI supports them

Use Questionnaire for extra planning questions. Use Notes for your internal interpretation.

Steps

  1. Open the project.
  2. Go to Style notes.
  3. Click Enable style notes if the feature is not enabled yet.
  4. Use Open Client request when you want to include style notes in the client request flow.
  5. Review the visible prompts.
  6. After submission, review Latest answers or Style notes answers.

What happens after answers are submitted

Style note answers stay in the Style notes area. They do not automatically rewrite the Wedding timeline, Shot list or delivery tasks.

Use them as creative guidance while making planning and shooting decisions.

Current beta note

The internal route may still use moodboard naming, but the user-facing label is Style notes.
