Create your first project so Wedding Desk has a place to store the wedding date, couple details, planning notes, timeline, shot list, vendors, gear and delivery work.
Before you start
You need workspace access and a future wedding date.
Steps
- Open the dashboard.
- Click Create project or Start new project.
- Enter Partner 1 name.
- Enter Partner 2 name.
- Choose the Wedding date.
- Add the Location if you already know it.
- Click Create project.
What happens after you create it
Wedding Desk creates the project and opens the project overview. The overview uses the project date and location to help show readiness, next suggested steps and planning context.
Tips & suggestions
- Use the real wedding date if you know it. It helps the dashboard and date views stay useful.
- Add only the details you know now. You can return to Project details later.
- After creating the project, open Project details if you want to add contact, package or delivery information.
