What this article covers
Prepare project gear by checking what is packed, what is pending and what is critical.
What the gear status means
Use statuses to make the list practical:
- Pending means the item still needs attention.
- Packed means the item is ready.
- Critical means missing the item would create a serious problem.
Steps
- Open the project.
- Go to Gear Preparation.
- Use All gear to review the full list.
- Use Critical open to focus on critical items that are not packed.
- Mark items Packed when they are ready.
- Keep items Pending when they still need attention.
- Link gear as Project-wide, Link to block or Link to moment when the UI offers that choice.
- Click Save.
What to check before the wedding
Review critical items first:
- camera bodies
- lenses
- audio recorders or microphones
- memory cards
- batteries and chargers
- lighting
- backup gear
- tools and utility items
For video or hybrid teams, audio and media backup may be as important as camera gear.

Tips & suggestions

- Use timeline links when gear is only needed for a specific moment.
