What to check before the wedding day

Wedding Desk is currently in beta. These guides describe the workflows that are available now. Some articles are still being expanded with fuller instructions, screenshots and video.

What this article covers

Use this checklist before relying on On The Day during the wedding.

Why this matters

On The Day is designed for quick use under pressure. That only works if the plan is already clean.

Steps

  1. Open Wedding Timeline and make sure the main moments have times and locations.
  2. Open Shot List and check must-have shots and family groups.
  3. Open Vendors and confirm key contacts have useful phone or email details.
  4. Open Gear Preparation and review critical open items.
  5. Open Share / Print checks if you need a print, share link or text backup.
  6. Open On The Day and scan the current/next view.

What to check in the timeline

Check the fixed anchors: ceremony, family photos, portraits, dinner, speeches and coverage wrap. If a moment does not have a time or location, fix it before the wedding day.

What to check in shots

Make sure must-have shots and family groups are realistic for the time available. Link shots to timeline moments when the timing matters.

What to check in vendors

Add the fastest contact method for the planner, venue, DJ, HMUA, officiant, photo/video team and other key people.

What to check in gear

Review critical items, especially batteries, media, audio and backup equipment.

Tips & suggestions

  • Check the view on the device you expect to use.
  • Keep notes short enough to read quickly.
  • Make a print or text backup if the venue may have unreliable reception.
