Create a share link

Create a public link when someone needs a browser view of selected project information without access to your Wedding Desk account. Use print for a paper or PDF copy and text download for a simple offline backup.

Review Share / Print checks first. Update important times, shot priorities, vendor details and gear on the relevant project pages before sharing them.

  1. Open Wedding Timeline and choose Share / Print.
  2. Under Public link includes, review the sections.
  3. Choose Create share link. For an existing link, choose Update shared sections.
  4. Choose Copy link.
  5. Use Share timeline when your browser supports its share action.

Timeline is always included. You can also include Shot priorities, Contacts: names, companies and roles and Gear checklist.

Include contact phone numbers is a separate choice. Phone numbers are hidden by default and require confirmation before they are published.

A public link stops working seven days after the wedding date. Link available until shows the exact date next to the link, so check it there instead of assuming a fixed period.

Because the expiry is counted from the wedding date and not from the day you created the link, creating it earlier does not shorten it and creating it late does not extend it. Once the wedding is more than seven days in the past, Wedding Desk refuses to create a new link for that project.

An existing link keeps working until that expiry date or until you choose Stop sharing. A change to the account's beta access does not remove an already shared link early.

A project without a valid wedding date falls back to 90 days from the moment you create the link. Adding the wedding date in Project details is the more reliable option.

Stop sharing

Choose Stop sharing and confirm. The current public link stops working immediately, before the expiry date.

The recipient can view only the selected sections. A share link does not provide editing access or a Wedding Desk account.

Review before sending

Open the copied link and check the visible sections. Confirm that phone numbers are included only when the recipient needs them and that the Timeline reflects the current plan.

After changing the selected sections, choose Update shared sections so the recipient sees the new version. Use Stop sharing when the link should no longer work, and update the link again after major planning changes.
