What this article covers

The public Wedding pricing calculator is available without an account. You can build the same type of quote as in the signed-in Calculator, but you cannot save it to a Wedding Desk project.

The currency selector supports currencies from around the world. Choosing a currency changes the symbol and number of decimal places; it does not convert entered amounts using an exchange rate.

Steps

1. Open the public calculator.
2. Choose or search for the currency by code or name.
3. Choose Photo, Video or Photo + Video.
4. Enter base price, included hours, extra-hour rate and coverage needed.
5. Add optional services. Each item can use fixed, hourly, per-item or per-kilometre pricing.
6. Set travel, discount, VAT or tax and payment schedule options.
7. Open Profit check if you want to review time, costs and margin privately.
8. Review the total and breakdown.
9. Use Copy quote for client or Print quote.

What happens to the result

The public calculator is not attached to a project. It does not save a draft, create a project, create an invoice or collect a payment.

Join the mailing list opens the mailing-list form and nothing else. Saving a quote into a project needs a signed-in account, and is planned for Wedding Desk Solo.

• Use the public calculator for quick estimates.
• Changing currency keeps the numbers you entered and does not apply an exchange rate.
• Wedding Desk checks the permitted decimal places and amount limits before using a value.
• Use the signed-in Calculator or a project calculator when you want to save work inside Wedding Desk.
