Account access and Wedding Desk versions

What this article covers

Wedding Desk Go is live in beta and free to use. This article explains how to get access through the mailing list or a message, and the three planned versions.

How access works

The login page signs in existing accounts only. It never creates one, so there is nothing to fill in there until your address has access.

Two things get you on the list. Message me for access sends me a message directly, and Or join the mailing list adds you to the announcements. Both are on the Pricing page, and you can also use the contact page.

Access during beta is free. The quickest way in is to send me a message. Your address is then approved by hand, so neither the mailing list nor a message creates an account by itself.

Wedding Desk versions

  • Wedding Desk Go is version 1.0. It brings together Starter Templates, Wedding Timeline, linked Shot List, Gear List, On The Day and private export.
  • Wedding Desk Solo is version 2.0. It adds client input, project details, contacts, delivery preparation, prices, quotes and invoices for one account owner.
  • Wedding Desk Team is version 3.0. It lets you invite the people working on a wedding, choose what each person can see or change and keep everyone on the same up-to-date plan.

The Pricing page shows which version includes each feature and which versions are available.

What happens once your address is approved

You receive a separate invitation with sign-in instructions once your address is approved. Only then does the login page work for you.

From there, Log in to Wedding Desk covers the sign-in email, the six-digit code and Google sign-in.

If you were told you have access but sign-in refuses your address, read I cannot log in before contacting support.
