Wedding Desk is currently in alpha. Access is limited to a very small invited test group while core workflows are still incomplete. These guides describe what is available now; the broader beta has not started yet.
What this article covers
A Wedding starter is an optional project-creation shortcut. It pairs one built-in or saved Timeline template with one saved Moments preset.
Where Wedding starters are managed
Open Timeline templates in workspace settings. Under Wedding starters, choose a name, a Timeline template and a Moments preset, then click Save starter.
You can rename, duplicate or delete saved Wedding starters. Existing projects do not change when a starter, preset or template is later renamed or deleted.
Start a project
- Open Create project.
- Enter the couple names, wedding date and any known location.
- Choose a saved Wedding starter.
- Click Create project.
- Review the preselected Timeline template.
- Confirm the required Timeline anchors.
- Review any first-look conflict and every calculated or Needs confirmation moment.
- Click Apply template when the result fits the wedding.
What the Wedding starter prepares
The Moments preset becomes the starting value for Moments & priorities. These are starting choices, not a submitted answer.
The Timeline template is preselected when the new Timeline opens. The photographer still reviews its anchors and explicitly applies it.
What a Wedding starter does not do
A Wedding starter does not:
- submit Intake or create an Intake response
- create or accept Shot List suggestions
- create Timeline moments before Apply template
- remain live-linked to the project
- update existing projects when the starter, preset or template changes
Tips & suggestions
- Use a starter for a repeatable starting structure, not a finished wedding plan.
- Keep the paired Moments preset general enough for a new couple to review.
- Resolve every Needs confirmation moment before relying on the Timeline.
