What this article covers
Moments & priorities is a structured Intake section for moments and details that matter to the couple. Submitted answers can create Shot List review suggestions, but nothing is accepted or scheduled automatically.
What the couple can select
The section asks whether the couple plans a first look together:
- Yes
- No
- Not decided yet
The couple can also select:
- Private vows, letters or gifts
- First look with parent or wedding party
- Wedding-party portraits
- Golden-hour portraits
- Parent or special dances
- Cake or dessert cutting
- Grand exit or send-off
Two free-text fields collect details that do not fit the standard choices:
- Cultural, religious or other special moment
- People, objects or traditions not to miss
Starting choices and Moments presets
Starting choices appear as the couple's starting point in the Intake editor. They are not a submitted response.
A Moments preset stores only its name, the starting first-look choice and the selected standard moments. It does not store either free-text note.
Applying a preset replaces the first-look choice and selected standard moments while preserving existing free-text notes. You can save current choices as a preset and rename, duplicate or delete saved presets from Timeline template preferences.
What happens after submission
Supported submitted choices create review suggestions under Moments & priorities in Shot List.
Selected standard moments become requested Shot List suggestions. The special-moment note becomes a special request. The must-not-miss note becomes a high-priority must-have request.
Use Accept to create a normal Shot List item or Ignore when you do not want the suggestion. The original Intake answer stays available as the source.
What is not automatic
Submitting Moments & priorities does not accept Shot List suggestions or schedule Timeline moments.
After acceptance, supported items may offer a direct Timeline link, Choose Timeline moment or Add to Timeline. You still choose the destination or explicitly add the moment.
Tips & suggestions
- Use starting choices to reduce work for the couple without deciding for them.
- Review the submitted answer before accepting suggestions.
- Keep must-not-miss information specific enough to act on.
