Edit the intake template

Wedding Desk is currently in beta. These guides describe the workflows that are available now. Some articles are still being expanded with fuller instructions, screenshots and video.

What this article covers

Use the intake editor to control which intake sections are included in the client request.

Steps

  1. Open the project.
  2. Go to Intake.
  3. Find Intake sections.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Turn sections on or off based on what you need from the couple.
  6. Save your changes.
  7. Use Preview to check the client-facing request before sending it.
  8. Use Copy link when you are ready to send the request.

What happens after editing

The client request uses the sections you selected. If Questionnaire or Style notes are enabled in the same request flow, the client can complete those parts from the request as well.

Tips & suggestions

  • Keep the request short enough that the couple will actually finish it.
  • Ask for planning details that you will use in the timeline, vendors, shot list or notes.
